This 1:35 Zimmeritdecal sheet is a dedicated finishing accessory for the Panzer IV Ausf.J, created to reproduce the distinctive anti-magnetic coating pattern on the model surface with less effort than applying 2-part putty by hand. The textured decals bring the hull and turret areas closer to the layered look seen on wartime vehicles while keeping the process focused and manageable. The sheet is intended for use with Tamiya 35181 German Panzer IV Ausf.J and is applied before accessory parts are attached to the hull. The model surface should be free of oil and dust before placement, and each section is cut along its outline to match the relevant area, including spaces around raised details. Two different coating patterns are available for selected sections, giving room to represent alternate real-vehicle finishes. The instruction notes also indicate that some vehicles did not carry Zimmerit on the turret Schurzen, which supports more specific finishing decisions.
