1:12 Yamaha YZF-R1, motorcycle model kit

This 1:12 motorcycle model kit captures the Yamaha YZF-R1 with the compact, aggressive form that made the 1997 machine stand out at its debut. Full fairings, a stepped seat, side mirrors, twin headlight area and the distinctive supersport silhouette come together in a display build that keeps the bike's road-focused character clear from every angle. The assembly breaks the machine into recognizable mechanical sections, including the engine, frame, radiator, front fork, front wheel and steering controls. A display stand is part of the kit, and the engine build uses cut vinyl tubing to represent hose runs with measured sections such as 27 mm and 14 mm. Further tubing lengths of 15 mm, 39 mm, 41 mm and 45 mm appear through the frame and handlebar area, giving the finished model a more convincing technical layout. The front tire is assembled with a marked rotation direction, and the upper cowl, headlights and mirrors complete the bike's sharply defined front end. Assembly time is stated as 600 minutes. The finished motorcycle suits shelf display, hobby work sessions and careful paint finishing. Assembly kit contents are included, while paints, cement and tools are required separately. With 4 decal sets for debut and 1999 versions, the build supports different Yamaha YZF-R1 looks while keeping the same 1:12 scale presence.
