1:6 Link-Type Motorcycle Chain, assembly kit

This 1:6 Link-Type Motorcycle Chain is an assembly kit created for the 1:6 Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin model kit, adding a moving chain structure that brings extra mechanical realism to the finished motorcycle. Individual plates and metal spacers form each link, so the chain takes shape piece by piece rather than as a single molded strip. The assembly process uses a dedicated jig to hold parts in place during construction, which is especially useful when repeating the same link pattern across the full chain length. Assembly is required, and the stated assembly time is 600 minutes. The completed chain is designed to seat neatly on the drive sprocket of Item 16042. Parts included in Item 16042 also allow the chain tension to be adjusted once fitted, which helps the final installation match the layout of the model. On the workbench, this chain kit suits builders who want to spend more time on the drivetrain area and bring finer structure into a large-scale motorcycle build. Fitted to the Africa Twin model, the articulated link construction gives the side profile and rear sprocket area a more convincing scale appearance.
