This aluminum damper set equips a TT-02B or DF-03 chassis car with 4 oil-filled suspension units designed for controlled movement and a sharper response on the track. Slick-coated aluminum cylinders help the pistons move efficiently through the oil, supporting consistent shock absorption when the car lands, turns and changes direction.
The set provides dedicated front and rear dampers, with 2 units for each end of the chassis rather than a one-size layout. Assembly documentation shows different piston setups for the 2 compatible chassis, including a 3-hole piston for TT-02B and a 2-hole piston for DF-03, plus a chassis-specific O-ring arrangement for DF-03. Silicone damper oil is included for filling the cylinders, and the build uses seals, rod guides, shaft guides, spacers and E-rings to complete each unit. The spring retainers can be rotated to adjust ground clearance on TT-02B, adding another tuning point alongside spring selection.
Installed on a buggy chassis, the 4 dampers support more settled landings over jumps, steadier behavior through uneven sections and finer suspension setup work at the bench. For rebuilds, upgrades or fresh chassis builds, the grippy knurled caps and adjusters help keep small damper parts manageable during assembly and maintenance.
