Der Nissan R91CP ist eine Ikone im japanischen Motorsport: Er gewann als erstes japanisches Auto die 24 Stunden von Daytona. Die Fahrer waren damals Kazuyoshi Hoshino, Toshio Suzuki und Masahiro Hasemi. Das original wurde angetrieben von einem V8 Biturbomotor mit 3.500 cm³ Hubraum. Dieses hervorragend ausbalancierte Fahrzeug wurde von John Cooper – einer britischen Rennsportlegende – verfeinert und 1961 als „Mini Cooper“ der Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt; im Jahr 1990 erlebte der Mini Cooper schließlich seine Wiederauferstehung. Das Fahrzeug wurde von einem 1,3-Liter-Motor angetrieben und ab 1991 zusätzlich mit einem Kraftstoffeinspritzsystem ausgestattet. Eines der legendärsten Modelle von TAMIYA ist in einer angepassten Version von 2026 wieder zurück: Der Clod Buster! Das Original wurde 1987 unter der Nummer 58065 vorgestellt und war zu damaliger Zeit ein technisches Highlight in einer imposanten Größe! Das Modell besitzt ein 4x4x4 System was bedeutet, dass das Modell einen permanenten Allradantrieb und eine Allradlenkung besitzt. Der Antrieb erfolgt über 2 Motoren (im Baukasten beiliegend). An der Vorder- und Hinterachse sind 2 identische Getriebegehäuse und Aufhängungen mit jeweils einem Motor verbaut. Somit kann die Vorder- und Hinterachse unabhängig voneinander arbeiten. Die Anlenkung erfolgt über ein zentral verbautes Lenkservo im Chassisboden. Dem Bausatz liegt ebenso ein elektronischer Fahrtenregler bei, der speziell für den Antrieb von 2 Motoren konzipiert ist. Die Karosserie besteht aus robusten ABS Kunststoff und ist bereist rot eingefärbt. In der 2026er Version wurde das Frontgrill neugestaltet und es können nun auch LED´s für die Beleuchtung verbaut werden (separat erhältlich). Weiterhin wurde dem 2026er Clod Buster ein neuer Dekorbogen spendiert, der nun auch zusätzlich einen weiblichen Charakter/Figur besitzt. Falls ein Kind das Modell zusammenbaut, sollte ein beaufsichtigender Erwachsener die Bauanleitung ebenfalls gelesen haben. Beim Zusammenbau des Bausatzes werden Werkzeuge einschließlich Messer verwendet. Zur Vermeidung von Verletzungen ist gesonderte Vorsicht angebracht. Falls beim Zusammenbau Schwierigkeiten auftreten, fragen Sie einen Erwachsenen, der die Arbeiten überwacht oder einen Modellbauer mit RC Erfahrungen bzw. Fachhändler. Werkzeuge jeweils nur zweckbestimmt einsetzen. Bei fehlerhafter Anwendung besteht Verletzungsgefahr.
