Product: 1:700 Brit. Zerstörer E-Klasse WL

To protect the Empire's shipping lanes, the British Navy built large numbers of destroyers in the years leading up to World War II. The nine ships of the so-called E-class, Exmouth, Echo, Eclipse, Electra, Encounter, Escapade, Escort, Esk and Express, were completed in 1934 and took part in many important operations during World War II, including the hunt for the Bismarck and the Battle of the Java Sea. The dimensions of the E-Class roughly corresponded to its predecessors. However, the ships had enlarged superstructures and also equipment for anti-submarine defence and a mine detection facility on board. The true-to-original TAMIYA kit on a scale of 1:700 contains decorative stickers for all nine E-Class ships.
