Tamiya welcomes another racing car – this time, the Audi R8 LMS 2008 –
paired with our popular TT- 02 chassis. Based upon the Audi sportscar R8
and conforming to GT3 regulations, the Audi R8 LMS was announced in
2008. A 5.2-liter V10 midship engine capable of over 500hp was mounted
in a lightweight aluminum space frame. Body sections were modified, and
the drivetrain was changed from 4WD to a rear-wheel drive system. From
2009 onward, this car was delivered to racing teams around the world and achieved many racing successes.
Required accessories (not included):
RC System with Receiver, Servo; 7.2V NiMH Battery Pack, Charger, Paints for Polycarbonat Body (Tamiya PS-XX).
4WD assembly kit, TT-02 Chassis,
ESC included, Type 540 Torque-
Tuned Motor, Polycarbonat-body.
