15 Well Palette, paint mixing tray, 5 plates

The 15 Well Palette is a practical paint mixing tray for model work, built around 15 separate wells that keep colours apart while brush painting, detail finishing or preparing small batches for repeated use. Each plate combines 9 round wells with a 25 mm diameter and additional compartments in a 3 mm thick PET sheet, creating a tidy layout that stays easy to handle on a crowded workbench. The disposable format changes the rhythm of a painting session by removing the cleanup routine that comes with metal palettes. Instead of reaching for thinner after every colour change, a used plate can simply be set aside and replaced. When a smaller section is enough, the plate can be cut with scissors, which helps place only the needed wells beside a model, subassembly or test piece. That makes the tray useful for touch-ups, trim colours, weathering mixes and other jobs where only a limited amount of paint is needed at one time. The palette can also be cleaned with Tamiya paint thinner when a mix needs to remain available across a longer session, although Tamiya Airbrush Cleaner 87089 is excluded from that use. On the bench beside brushes, stirrers and paint jars, the plate supports a more orderly workflow with less interruption between mixing, loading the brush and returning to fine detail work.
