HG II Flat Brush Medium, modeling brush, flat tip

The HG II Flat Brush Medium brings a broad, even painting edge to model work, with very fine PBT resin bristles shaped into a flat tip for smooth, soft brushstrokes. On body panels, interior parts and other flat sections, the medium width helps spread paint in a controlled band while keeping the stroke neat along edges. The brush combines white synthetic bristles, a metal ferrule and a long black handle with a squared end cap. Laser-engraved handle text identifies the HG II series and the medium size, with the size marking shown in Japanese. The handle material is solvent-resistant, a practical detail for sessions that involve hobby paints and common modeling solvents. At the end of the grip, a stopper helps keep the brush from rolling across the work surface and reduces the chance of the bristle tip being knocked out of shape. If that stopper is not needed, it can be cut off with side cutters. This flat brush suits coverage work that needs a cleaner edge than a round tip can provide, such as painting trim, raised details, larger flat areas or straight sections on scale models. It also fits bench setups where the brush is set down repeatedly between coats, washes or touch-up passes.
