The HG II Rounded Flat Brush XS is built for controlled detail painting, pairing a very fine rounded flat tip with PBT resin bristles that carry paint neatly into small areas. The slightly stiff bristle feel supports crisp placement on narrow edges, tiny parts and close finishing work, where a broader brush can leave too much paint behind. Its handle is made from solvent-resistant material suited to regular bench use with modeling paints and related liquids. A metal ferrule secures the bristle head, and the grip carries laser-engraved HG II series text plus the size marking in Japanese, so the brush can be identified quickly among other tools. At the end of the handle, a small tab helps keep the brush from rolling across the table and lowers the chance of the tip touching the work surface; the tab can be removed with side cutters when a smooth end is preferred.
