LP-18 Hull Red, lacquer paint, 10 ml jar

LP-18 Hull Red is a lacquer paint for scale modelling, supplied in a 10 ml jar and finished in a flat red tone. The muted surface appearance suits areas where a lower-sheen coating fits the subject better than a glossy layer, such as ship hull sections, structural parts or weathered vehicle details seen under workshop light. Within the LP paint range, the LP-18 code gives a clear reference for repeatable colour choice across separate builds and later touch-ups. The jar format keeps the paint ready for measured use on smaller sections, trim areas and detail passes where colour placement needs control. As a lacquer paint, it fits modelling workflows that build colour in thin coats and refine the final look through layering, masking and contrast with neighbouring shades. On the bench, this shade works where a subdued red is needed to break up larger colour blocks or define lower body areas with a more restrained finish. It also suits projects that call for consistent repainting of the same section at a later stage, because the LP-18 reference stays tied to the exact colour designation rather than a generic red label.
