Polishing Compound Finish, model polishing paste

Polishing Compound Finish is a model polishing paste for the last stage of surface work, created to bring painted sections and transparent parts to a more refined gloss. The finish grade follows the coarser steps in the polishing sequence and uses very fine abrasive particles, so the paste can work on light haze while supporting a deeper mirror-like result on high-grade painted surfaces. The 22 ml tube keeps the compound easy to dispense in small amounts for focused work on canopies, body panels and other detailed areas. Its paste consistency helps keep the material on the target area instead of running across nearby detail. The compound was developed for plastic model making and is also suited to parts where metal polish cannot be used. According to the supplied safety data, it is an O/W emulsion with additives, white in colour, partially emulsifiable in water, with a pH value of 9.5 at 25 °C and a relative density of 1.0 at 20 °C. On the workbench, this finish compound fits the final pass after earlier polishing grades, when the aim is to lift clarity on clear parts or add extra depth to a painted shell. It also suits careful touch-up work on small sections that need a more even final sheen rather than a broad sanding step.
