PS-40 Translucent Pink, spray paint, 100 ml

PS-40 Translucent Pink brings a vivid tinted finish to polycarbonate model bodies, with a translucent effect that keeps light passing through the colour layer instead of covering the surface opaquely. On clear RC bodyshells, that creates a brighter, layered look that suits custom race graphics, accent sections and bold full-body colour schemes. The formula is specified for polycarbonate, making it suitable for the flexible shells used on many RC cars and other hobby models. The 100 ml aerosol can is sized for practical workshop use, with spray application that reaches broad roof panels, curved fenders and narrow side sections more quickly than brush painting. Because PS-40 belongs to the PS-37 to PS-40 colour group, Tamiya recommends backing it with PS-41 Light Silver. That extra backing coat helps the final shade read as intended and gives the translucent pink more presence once the shell is mounted. In a paint session, PS-40 fits naturally into multi-step body finishing, whether the goal is a single-colour shell, layered striping or window-mask designs on clear polycarbonate. It also works well when a build calls for colour depth rather than a flat solid coat, adding a distinctive tinted character to RC bodywork and other compatible model surfaces.
