TS-42 Light Gun Metal, spray paint, semi gloss

TS-42 Light Gun Metal is a special acrylic resin spray paint for model finishing, supplied in a 100 ml aerosol can. The semi gloss Light Gun Metal shade gives plastic model surfaces a metallic look with a controlled sheen that avoids the fully flat or mirror-gloss appearance often used for different effects. The aerosol format helps lay down colour across wider panels and shaped exterior sections in a continuous coat, which is useful on body shells, fairings, covers and other visible parts where an even surface matters. As part of the TS paint range, this shade is suited to model painting tasks that call for a darker metallic tone. The can is labelled for plastics, aligning it with common model-building materials used in hobby kits. When a brighter top finish is wanted, the BasicText specifies TS-13 glossy clear coat as the matching overcoat for a glossy surface finish. On the bench, TS-42 fits projects where metallic bodywork, trim sections or equipment housings need a darker gun metal appearance. It also works well in finishing stages where a spray-applied coat is preferred over brush application for smoother coverage across larger visible areas.
