TS-80 Flat Clear, paint spray, 100 ml lacquer

TS-80 Flat Clear is a 100 ml spray lacquer for model finishing, designed to cover larger surfaces quickly and leave a flat final look over glossy paint finishes. The aerosol format suits broad body panels and shell sections where an even coat matters, and the synthetic lacquer cures in a short period of time to keep paint work progressing between stages. This spray is part of the TS paint range and is intended for model use where a smooth clear coat is needed across full surfaces rather than small brush-painted areas. One can is enough to fully cover 2 or 3 car model bodies in 1/24 scale, which gives a useful guide when planning a full shell finish or multiple smaller projects. The formula is not affected by acrylic or enamel paints, so once the main painted assembly is complete, further detail work can be added with those paint types. For clear coating, the underlying paint should be fully cured before TS-80 is applied; the guidance given is up to 1 week to avoid cracking caused by different cure rates. Clear coating over decals should also be tested first, as some decals can be harmed by the coat. On the bench, TS-80 suits full-body finishing, panel-by-panel top coating and final surface adjustment when a glossy base needs a flatter appearance. In model car work, it gives a straightforward way to unify the finish across larger exterior areas before smaller painted details are picked out separately.
