X-20A Thinner 23 ml, acrylic paint thinner

X-20A Thinner is a compact 23 ml thinner for acrylic paint work, supplied in a clear glass jar with a white ribbed screw cap that suits precise bench use. The formula is identified for Tamiya acrylic and polycarbonate paints, supporting controlled dilution when paint needs a lighter mix for fine coverage, edge work or airbrush preparation. The liquid is colourless, carries a solvent odour and is partially soluble in water. Technical data in the safety sheet lists a density of 0.93 g/ml at 20 °C, a boiling range of 97 to 174 °C and a flash point of 32 °C. The same document identifies the mixture as solvent in water with 45% solvent content, including 35% propan-1-ol and 10% 3-methoxy-3-methylbutan-1-ol. ASTM D4236 conformity is stated on the label. On the workbench, the 23 ml size fits short mixing sessions, detail painting and routine tool care after brush or airbrush use. The screw-cap jar stores neatly beside paints and can be opened for small measured amounts when cleaning dried residue from tools and painted surfaces is part of the job.
