Its fine 3000 grit suits light refining work where raised spots, small imperfections and transition areas need a smoother finish before the next stage. The sponge base bends into curved sections and reaches corners that are awkward with a rigid sanding block, which helps when working on body lines, clothing folds or other sculpted details. Because the sheet can be cut with a modeling knife, smaller sections can be prepared for narrow parts or confined areas instead of using the full sheet each time. Wet sanding use adds another practical option for controlled finishing on plastic models, and the abrasive surface is also stated for wood and metal materials.
