Sanding Cloth #1000 Grit, Model Sanding Sheet

This #1000 sanding cloth brings controlled abrasion to model finishing work, combining a soft sheet format with a mid-fine grit that suits smoothing passes where a surface needs refinement without overly aggressive cutting. The 170 x 130 mm size gives a broad working area for hand use while still fitting neatly on a bench beside paints, fillers and body parts. The cloth can be used for both dry and wet sanding, so the same sheet can support different stages of preparation depending on the material and finish being worked. The grit number identifies the abrasive grade, and within the available range from #600 to #3000, #1000 is positioned for smoothing work after coarser correction and before finer finishing steps. Its soft construction develops fewer strong fold lines than stiffer abrasive sheets, which helps keep pressure more even across contours and reduces the risk of deep scratch marks on the surface. On scale bodies, fairings, panels or other hobby components, the sheet can be folded for narrow sections or used flat across broader areas.
