Its 240 grit suits general smoothing and surface preparation, especially when protrusions, seam lines or uneven spots need to be reduced across shaped parts and detailed contours. At 114 x 140 mm, the sheet offers enough area for broad passes while still being easy to trim into smaller sections with a modeling knife. That makes it useful for narrow edges, recessed areas and custom sanding shapes that match the part being worked on. The sponge layer bends with the surface instead of forcing a flat contact point, which helps maintain a more even finish on curves, corners and sculpted details. The abrasive format is suitable for plastic models and can also be used when finishing wood and metal parts. Wet sanding use adds another practical option during bench work, particularly when a cleaner sanding process is preferred on finely shaped components. On figures, body parts, panels or scratch-built details, the sheet supports careful material removal with close control over where the abrasive meets the surface.
