The Sanding Sponge Sheet 320 brings controlled surface finishing to model work with an aluminum oxide abrasive layer bonded to a flexible 5 mm sponge base. That combination helps the sheet sit evenly against shaped parts while smoothing protrusions on plastic models, and it also suits finishing work on wood and metal. The 320 grit supports finer abrasion where a cleaner surface is needed before the next build step. With a 114 x 140 mm format, the sheet provides enough area for broad passes across larger sections while still remaining easy to handle at the bench. The sponge backing bends into curved panels, around sculpted forms and into harder-to-reach corners where a rigid abrasive can skip or dig in. When a smaller contact area is needed, the sheet can be cut with a modeling knife to match narrow edges, recessed details or compact parts. Wet sanding compatibility adds another working method for builders who want to adapt the finish process to the material and the stage of preparation. On scale models, figures and detail parts, the sheet supports careful cleanup after trimming, seam work or surface preparation.
