Fine Engraving Blade 0.5mm, hobby tool blade

The Fine Engraving Blade 0.5mm is a precision hobby tool blade for adding sharper definition to model surfaces. Made from tungsten carbide, it is designed for engraving panel lines and cutting custom detail with a smooth, consistent finish that suits advanced model work. The 0.5 mm blade thickness gives a broader engraved line than finer variants in the same range, while the 25 mm total length and 2 mm shank diameter keep the format compact for controlled handling. It is recommended for use with the dedicated Engraving Blade Holder 74139 and is also compatible with Fine Pin Vise D 74050 and D-R 74112. The shank carries a color-coded marking so the thickness can be identified quickly when several blade sizes are kept together. Each blade comes in a storage case that can hold up to 10 blades. For use, the blade is held at a 45 to 60 degree angle and pulled lightly across the surface to score it. Repeated light passes help build a clearly defined line on plastic model parts, whether refining existing panel detail or adding new engraved features to a custom build.
