HC File PRO/Half-Rd 5mm, hobby file, half-round

The HC File PRO/Half-Rd 5mm is a precision hand tool for shaping and refining model materials with a slim 160 mm format and a half-round working profile. One side presents a flat filing surface while the opposite side follows a curved form, making it easier to work along straight edges, inside curves and narrow recesses with the same tool. Its double-cut pattern gives the teeth a clear, even bite, which helps remove material in a controlled way during adjustment and finishing work. The file is intended for hard materials such as metal, carbon fiber and FRP, and it also handles standard model parts where a finer fit or cleaner contour is needed. A chrome coating on the teeth helps prevent shavings from packing into the cut, so the working surface stays clearer through repeated passes. The black PVC grip has a non-slip finish, plus the twin star logo and white printed wording. At the workbench, this format suits trimming a tight corner, refining a curved opening or smoothing a shaped edge before the next build step. A plastic case is included for storage between sessions and helps keep the filing surface protected when the tool is not in use.
