The Modeling Flat Chisel Blade 2mm is a precision hobby tool for finishing plastic model parts with a clean, controlled cut. Made from high-speed steel, it combines a 2 mm blade width, 2 mm shank diameter and 25 mm overall length in a compact format that reaches small surface details and tight working areas. This blade is intended for final removal work rather than heavy cutting. Thicker protrusions should be filed down first, then the blade can be drawn across the remaining material with the underside kept flush to the plastic surface. That low-angle scraping action helps shave away the last raised trace without digging deeply into the part. It is also suited to spots that are awkward to reach with a modelling knife or side cutters. A storage case is included for keeping the blade covered when not in use. The blade is compatible with Item 74139, the recommended holder, and with Item 74112. On the workbench, it fits naturally into detail-finishing steps such as refining seams, removing small imperfections and preparing surfaces for final abrasive cleanup. Protective goggles should be worn during use because plastic shavings may fly.
