Modeling Template RR 1-6 brings rounded rectangle scribing into a controlled, repeatable format for detailed model work. The photo-etched stainless steel fret is designed for use with Tamiya engraving needle tools, letting fine lines follow a defined edge instead of relying on freehand marking across small surfaces. The fret contains 3 template sheets with rounded rectangle openings in multiple sizes, spanning 1 mm to 6 mm in width and 1.5 mm to 12 mm in length. That spread supports small access panels, vents, hatches and other surface details where matching proportions matter across more than one part. The smallest opening measures 1 mm x 1.5 mm, while the largest reaches 6 mm x 12 mm, so the same set covers both tight detailing and larger marked features. The 0.1 mm stainless steel construction keeps the edge fine while allowing the sheet to conform to shaped parts. On curved assemblies, the template can be bent against convex surfaces with a minimum target component radius of 30 mm, which makes it useful for aircraft fuselage sections and similarly rounded bodies. It is intended for scribing and engraving PS and ABS resin parts when paired with the matching needle tool, adding a precise guide to bench work focused on clean repeated shapes.
