1:35 German Field Kitchen, plastic model kit

This 1:35 plastic model kit captures the German Field Kitchen used to serve meals to non-mechanized WWII units such as infantry. The build centres on a field cooking trailer with a separate limber, creating the distinctive towed layout associated with mobile food service behind the lines. The detachable limber and trailer allow the finished model to be shown coupled for transport or separated for a camp setup. Wooden wheels and the flue are rendered with a rich finish that gives the structure more visual depth once painted. A seated soldier figure is included on the limber holding leashes, and the horse figure completes the towing arrangement with a clear handling scene. Smaller accessories including milk pots, food containers and a bucket extend the setting around the kitchen and support a fuller diorama composition.
