1:35 Zimmerit Coating Sheet, model accessory

This 1:35 Zimmerit Coating Sheet adds the distinctive ridged armor texture used on the King Tiger Porsche Turret without the sculpting work normally involved in putty application. The precut adhesive sections are designed for the Tamiya German King Tiger Porsche Turret kit and give broad hull and turret surfaces a more defined, uniform finish once applied and painted. The sheet contains 26 numbered parts shaped for specific exterior areas, including long side sections, front and rear plates, curved turret pieces and smaller patches for detail zones. Each section follows the contours of the model, so the textured pattern can be placed with more control around mantlet curves, armor edges and fittings. The ridged surface reproduces the look of Zimmerit while avoiding the mixing, spreading and hand-texturing steps required by 2-part putty. Assembly is required, and the stated assembly time is 600 minutes. During the build, the coating parts are applied to cleaned model surfaces before accessory parts are attached to the hull, which helps the textured sections sit flat across the intended areas. For modelers working on a military vehicle finish with added surface character, this sheet supports a more detailed result while keeping the Zimmerit stage focused on placement and fit rather than sculpting technique.
