1:35 Bundeswehr Leopard 2A6, plastic assembly kit

This 1:35 plastic assembly kit recreates the Bundeswehr Leopard 2A6 with the long 55 caliber 120 mm smoothbore main gun that defines this later tank variant. At 314 mm in overall length, the finished model carries the extended proportions of the full-size vehicle into a format that suits detailed painting, weathering and diorama work. The Leopard 2A6 also retains key features associated with earlier Leopard 2 upgrades, including wedge-shaped spaced armor and an improved electric gun control and stabilization system, giving the subject a distinctly modern silhouette and technical character. Transparent parts are used for the goggles, headlights and taillights, which helps these smaller details stand apart during finishing. Decals are included for up to 4 different marking types, including NATO versions used in Kosovo, opening several historically grounded display directions from one kit. The kit also includes 2 newly designed half body figures for the commander and loader, plus extra road signs for scene building around the completed tank. Assembly is required, with a stated assembly time of 600 minutes. Paints are required separately.
