1:35 Challenger 2 Desertised, military model kit

The 1:35 Challenger 2 Desertised military model kit recreates the British main battle tank in its Iraq configuration with an overall length of 334 mm and width of 115 mm. A new turret, the long 120 mm main gun and the desert-specific external equipment give the finished build a purposeful silhouette that stands out on a shelf or in a military miniature line-up. The kit uses transparent parts for the gun sight lens, headlights, tail lights and rotating light, bringing extra definition to small visual details across the hull and turret. Commander and loader half-body figures are included to add crew presence at the open hatches. 3 sets of markings support different finishing choices, while canvas skirts and Combat Identification Panels are supplied to match the Iraq version. The CITV and the gunner's sight lens cover can each be assembled open or closed, allowing different display decisions within the same subject. Alongside other 1:35 modern armour subjects, the completed tank brings a distinct desert theatre character through its added external fittings and crew details. During the build, the separate tracks, wheels and turret elements create a focused modelling project with plenty of surface detail to paint and weather.
