1:35 Ger. Floating Car Typ 166, plastic model kit

This 1:35 plastic model kit recreates the Ger. Floating Car Typ 166 with the distinctive amphibious layout that made the Schwimmwagen stand out on rough ground and at water crossings. The hull-shaped underside is formed with slide molding, which helps preserve the vehicle's curved lower body while keeping the assembly process cleaner and more precise. In a finished display, the open cockpit, compact proportions and raised front spare wheel give the model a purposeful military profile. The kit goes beyond the outer silhouette with parts for the air-cooled 4-cylinder engine and a richly finished interior. Flooring, seats, the instrument panel and the shift lever are all represented, so the cabin keeps its visual depth even with the roof open. A folded canvas roof cover adds another layer of period character, and the moveable windshield changes the stance of the vehicle without altering the core build. Assembly is required, with a stated build time of 600 minutes. Cement and paints are required separately.
