1:35 Ger. SdKfz.139 Marder III, plastic model kit

This 1:35 scale plastic assembly model kit recreates the Ger. SdKfz.139 Marder III as a compact tank destroyer with an overall length of 174 mm and an open fighting compartment that keeps the interior visible after the build. The long gun, angular armor layout and tracked chassis give the finished model a strong World War II silhouette for cabinet display or diorama work. The interior is a major part of the appeal, with the main gun plate, gun supports and ammunition rack all reproduced as separate visual elements inside the fighting compartment. Protective armor and sighting equipment move in step with the raising and lowering of the main gun, so the gun position changes the look of the upper structure at the same time. Crew seats and the large clamp for the main gun can be modeled in either fighting or moving positions, which changes the stance of the vehicle without altering its historical identity. Assembly time is stated as 600 minutes. Paints are required separately. On a workbench, the model supports a focused build with room for careful painting, weathering and figure finishing. In a display scene, the 2 included crew figures and 5 kinds of battlefield markings help shape different moments, from a halted vehicle under observation to a gun crew preparing for action.
