1:35 US M10 Mid Production, plastic model kit

The 1:35 US M10 Mid Production is a plastic model kit that brings the distinctive tank destroyer into a larger display scale with sharply observed form and convincing structural detail. Measuring 196 mm in length and 88 mm in width, the finished vehicle has the footprint to show the M10's sloped armor, open fighting compartment and long 3-inch gun in a way that reads clearly from every angle. This largely newly tooled kit was developed from intensive study and measurement of the M10 preserved at the tank museum in Saumur. That research shows in features such as the auxiliary armor bosses and the contrast between cast and welded surfaces across the hull and turret. The open turret makes the interior a visible part of the build, with the gun breech adding depth beneath the upper rim. Belt-type parts recreate T51 tracks, and the driver's hatch can be fitted in either open or closed position with periscope detail included. The set also comes with 3 figures: commander, loader and gunner, each posed to suit an active vehicle scene. Two marking options allow the model to be finished as an M10 from the 601st or 634th U.S. Tank Destroyer Battalions. Cement and paints are required separately. On a workbench, the combination of interior visibility, texture variation and crew figures supports a build that stays engaging through assembly, painting and final display.
