The 1:35 US M26 Tank Recovery Vehicle model kit brings a distinctive Allied recovery machine into focus with a 225 mm length, 106 mm width and the dense visual weight associated with the full-size vehicle. Its armored cab, rear boom structure and workshop equipment create a build that stands apart from standard combat armor, with towing and field-repair hardware shaping the silhouette from front bumper to rear support. The kit recreates the cab with slide-molding, forming the main structure as one detailed piece and giving the window armor a choice of open or closed positions. Around the rear section, the crane layout, winch arrangement, vice, welding equipment and accessory fittings build a convincing service-vehicle character rather than a front-line gun platform. Metal parts are used extensively, including photo-etched elements, pipes and chains, while chrome-plated parts and transparent light components sharpen smaller exterior details. Rubber tires with a real tread pattern complete the running gear with a more mechanical finish than plain molded wheels. Six decal options support different marking schemes, and 4 figures in 2 types expand the scene with crew placed in the cab and standing personnel beside the vehicle. Assembly time is stated as 600 minutes. Paints, tools and cement are required separately.
