1:35 US M3A1 Scout Car, plastic model kit

The 1:35 US M3A1 Scout Car captures the flat-sided armored shape, open fighting compartment and front un-ditching roller of this wartime reconnaissance vehicle in a plastic model kit with a finished length of 161 mm. On a shelf or in a diorama, the long hull, raised armor plates and crew positions give the model a strong sense of movement and field use. Multi-piece parts depict the front roller and the crew area weapons, with 1 M2 and 1 M1919 machine gun included for the fighting compartment. The interior goes beyond the outer bodywork with separate shift, transfer case and parking brake levers plus a detailed dashboard, giving the cabin more depth during painting and weathering. The kit also supplies 5 figures in Red Army winter attire: a helmeted driver in tanker overalls, a commander with pistol and a choice of ushanka or regulation headgear, 2 gunners and 1 seated soldier.
