1:35 US M5A1 Light Tank, model kit, with mortar

This 1:35 scale M5A1 model kit recreates the compact form of the US light tank with its 37 mm main gun, turret-mounted machine gun position and the extra armor plate fitted on the turret's right side. The finished subject carries the character of a reconnaissance vehicle designed for speed, with the original machine powered by twin 300 hp Cadillac V8 gasoline engines and reaching 58 km/h. The build centers on a static display model with faithfully reproduced bogie suspension, realistic weld lines and bolt detail, and a hull layout derived from the M3 Stuart development line. Alongside the tank, the set provides 4 figures and battlefield accessories including a mortar and portable radio, giving the scene more than a single-vehicle focus. Two marking options support different finishing directions, while the historical background of approximately 6,800 vehicles produced places the subject firmly in the Italian and North West European campaigns. Assembly is required, with a stated build time of 600 minutes. On a shelf, in a diorama, or as the centerpiece of a World War II ground scene, the combination of vehicle detail and figure action creates a display with clear narrative structure.
