1:35 US Mar.MBT M60A1, plastic model kit

This 1:35 plastic model kit recreates the US Mar.MBT M60A1 with reactive armor, a configuration used on USMC-operated vehicles during the 1990 Gulf War. The added armor gives the tank its striking layered silhouette, while the model also captures the contrast between cast metal surfaces and canvas-covered sections for a more convincing finish across the hull and turret. The build depicts a veteran main battle tank first deployed in 1965 and later updated to address modern missile threats with externally mounted reactive armor. Details visible in the kit include the long main gun, side skirts, road wheels, tracks, turret basket and the characteristic armor blocks around the turret and front hull. The commander's cupola can be built with open or closed hatch parts, and the turret is installed as a movable assembly. Spare wheels, a jerry can, camo nets and further stowage parts help shape a service-ready appearance. A full body commander figure and a loader torso figure bring extra scale reference and scene detail to the finished model. On the workbench, the combination of textured surfaces, crew figures and external equipment supports a focused painting and weathering project. Assembly takes 600 minutes. Paints and plastic cement are required separately.
