1:48 Ger. Sturmtiger 38cm, scale model kit

This 1:48 Ger. Sturmtiger 38cm scale model kit brings one of the rarest Tiger I variants into a compact military miniature format with all-new tooling. The finished model measures 133 mm in length and 78 mm in width, giving the heavy casemate silhouette and short-barrel mortar a strong presence on a shelf or in a diorama scene. The design draws on the full-size vehicle's role as an urban assault machine, with fighting compartment parts broken down along the weld lines of the original vehicle for a more authentic structure during assembly. The 38 cm gun is not fixed in place: it can be set with traverse and elevation, and the barrel includes rifling detail for a sharper finish at close range. Metal weights are built into the hull to give the assembled model added heft in the hand, and the crane is also a moving part. One standing figure is included to support historical display scenes and to reinforce the scale of the vehicle. Assembly is required, with a stated build time of 600 minutes. Cement and paint are required separately. On a display base, beside ruined-building scenery or as part of a late-war armour line-up, the Sturmtiger's unusual form stands apart from standard Tiger I subjects through its massive mortar, slab-sided superstructure and limited-production history.
