1:48 Ger.Tank II Ausf.A/B/C F.C., plastic model kit

This 1:48 scale plastic model kit captures the German Tank II Ausf.A/B/C F.C. with the compact stance and turreted layout of the early-war light tank. The finished model measures 101 mm in overall length, a size that keeps the build manageable while still leaving room for the layered details of the hull, turret and running gear to read clearly on a shelf or in a diorama. The build allows a choice between Ausf.A, Ausf.B and Ausf.C by following the separate version guide, with variant-specific parts used at key points of the assembly. The lower hull is built around a tub structure, then fitted with 10 road wheels, 2 drive sprockets, 2 idler wheels and 8 return rollers before the track sections are attached in sequence. The upper hull adds front and rear fittings, turret components, a gun mantlet and small exterior details such as the antenna holder and Notek light. Decals are used for markings, and the commander figure can be painted and placed in the hatch to add crew detail. On the bench, the 101 mm format suits compact display spaces and smaller historical scenes without losing the character of the original vehicle.
