This 1:32 Mits.A6M2b ZERO Fighter 21 assembly kit brings the Zero Model 21 into a large-format aircraft build with a 283 mm length and 375 mm width that gives the finished airframe real visual presence on a shelf or workbench. The shape of the curved cowling and fuselage is reproduced with slide molding, allowing rivets and surface texture to read clearly across the aircraft once the parts are assembled and painted. The nose section centers on a Nakajima Sakae type 12 engine with a propeller reduction unit, exhaust pipe and further detail parts that build up the mechanical character of the aircraft. Metal parts are used to depict the landing gear system and pitot tube, while photo-etched seat belt parts add finer cockpit detail. The kit also provides parts to depict Mitsubishi-built and Nakajima-built Zero Model 21 variations. Standing and seated pilot figures, wheel chocks, access steps, a display stand and 7 marking options for aircraft that took part in the Pearl Harbor attack broaden the finishing and presentation choices. Folded and extended wingtips can be fitted interchangeably even after assembly, making it easy to change the aircraft's silhouette for display. Movable landing gear, rudder and flaps support different static poses, whether the model is shown ready on the ground, set with access steps beside the fuselage, or raised on the stand for an in-flight presentation.
