1:48 US Vought F4U-1A Corsair, aircraft model kit

This 1:48 aircraft model kit captures the US Vought F4U-1A Corsair with the gull-wing layout and WWII fighter presence that made the original aircraft so distinctive. The finished model measures 236 mm in wingspan and about 205 mm in fuselage length, giving the shape enough size for cockpit, landing gear and surface detail to read clearly once assembled. The build includes a detailed cockpit, radial engine, main landing gear, tailwheel and canopy parts, with painting callouts integrated through the assembly sequence. The engine section allows a choice of open or closed cowling flaps, while the wing structure is designed for either folded or extended main wings. Instruction steps also show optional finishing choices such as layered insignia application and alternative external stores, so the model can be tailored to different display looks without changing its core airframe. 2 historical marking schemes are provided for period-authentic decoration.
