1:72 De Havilland Mosquito FB Mk.VI, aircraft model kit

This 1:72 scale aircraft model kit recreates the De Havilland Mosquito FB Mk.VI with the long, slim lines and twin-engine layout that made the original one of the most distinctive RAF aircraft of World War II. At 223 mm across the wings and 175 mm in fuselage length, the finished model has enough size to show the wing planform, glazed cockpit and underwing stores clearly on a shelf or in a display cabinet. The kit is designed as an assembly project and includes variant choices drawn from the instruction sheet. Builders can finish 3 different versions: FB Mk.VI 487 Squadron, FB Mk.VI 143 Squadron, or NF Mk.II 157 Squadron. The cockpit section adds more than a basic seat-and-panel layout, using an instrument panel decal and version-specific equipment, including a radar unit for the NF Mk.II configuration. Interior radio components such as the T1154 transmitter and R1155 receiver are also represented, adding extra structure inside the fuselage. Clear parts support the canopy glazing, while separate nacelle assemblies break the twin Merlin-powered layout into defined construction stages. With an assembly time stated at 600 minutes, the build suits slower bench sessions where painting, marking placement and subassembly work can be handled step by step. Paints, cement and tools are required separately.
