1:72 P-47D Thunderbolt Bubbletop, aircraft model kit

The 1:72 P-47D Thunderbolt Bubbletop captures the later form of one of WWII's best-known single-seat fighter aircraft in a compact aircraft model kit. Newly designed fuselage and canopy parts reproduce the bulky lines of the Bubbletop version, where the transparent canopy reshaped the upper profile and opened up the cockpit view. This release follows the earlier P-47D Razorback in the 1:72 War Bird Collection and focuses on the successor airframe rather than a simple reissue. The finished length of 153 mm gives the model a manageable footprint for display while still leaving room for the Thunderbolt's broad nose, deep fuselage and undercarriage to read clearly. The kit is designed for assembly and the stated assembly time is 600 minutes. Decals support 2 marking types, and the subject matter reflects the aircraft's service across bomber escort and low-altitude attack roles. The included stores and alternate markings give the build a clear historical direction before painting begins. On a shelf, desk or in a WWII aircraft lineup, the Bubbletop shape stands out through its raised clear canopy, broad wings and loaded underwing configuration.
