1:32 N.A. F-51D Mustang Korean War, aircraft kit

This 1:32 aircraft kit captures the N.A. F-51D Mustang in its Korean War configuration, bringing a well-known fighter into a large scale with the presence to show off its shape, markings and mission equipment. The finished model measures 354 mm in wingspan and 308 mm in fuselage length, giving the airframe enough size for the panel layout, cockpit glazing and underwing details to read clearly on the shelf. The Korean War version is separated from late-WWII Mustangs by specific external and equipment differences, and this kit recreates them with squared-off propeller tips and 2 radio equipment types. A detailed V12 engine adds structure beneath the cowl area, while the radiator interior, moving wing parts and radiator flaps extend the mechanical feel across the airframe.
