1:32 P-51D/K Mustang Pacific, aircraft model kit

This 1:32 P-51D/K Mustang Pacific aircraft model kit captures the long nose, bubble canopy and low-wing profile of the wartime fighter in a format built for detailed bench work and display. The kit goes beyond a single airframe version by covering P-51D, P-51K and F-6D configurations, giving the finished build a broader historical range within one box. The Packard-built Merlin engine is reproduced with components such as the carburetor, supercharger and intercoolers, and the nose section is designed so the ultra-thin cowlings can be detached with magnets after assembly. Photo-etched parts refine areas such as the seat harnesses and oil cooler, while the masking sheet helps with canopy painting. External stores include 75-gallon and 110-gallon drop tanks, 500 lb bombs and M10 4.5-inch bazooka tubes. The kit also contains 2 pilot figures, 1 seated and 1 standing, plus 3 marking options for different finishing directions. On a shelf, the model can be shown cleanly in flight on the included stand or posed on its undercarriage with the engine area opened for a maintenance-style presentation. Paints and cement are required separately, and the included decals, painting guide and reference booklet support a finish with period markings and cockpit detail.
