1:48 Ger. Messerschmitt Me262 A-1A, aircraft kit

This 1:48 plastic assembly kit recreates the Ger. Messerschmitt Me262 A-1A, the first jet-powered aircraft to see service, in a format that gives the aircraft's swept shape and twin-engine layout real presence on the bench. With an overall length of 221 mm and a wingspan of 264 mm, the model brings the compact proportions of the historic fighter into a display scale that still leaves room for fine surface work and careful finishing. The build includes a die-cast nose wheel well weight to support the tricycle landing gear layout, while the pilot figure adds a crew element inside the cockpit. Decals for 4 different markings allow different finishing directions within the same aircraft type. The kit focuses on late-production A-1A details, including underwing R4M air-to-air rockets and nose-mounted W.Gr 21 launchers, so the finished aircraft can reflect a heavily armed operational configuration. Assembly time is stated as 600 minutes. Cement and paints are required separately. On the work surface, the open or closed panel options invite different display choices, from a cleaner silhouette to a more technical presentation with internal detail exposed.
