1:48 Mitsubishi A6M5/5a Zero Fighter, aircraft kit

The 1:48 Mitsubishi A6M5/5a Zero Fighter assembly kit recreates the late-war Japanese Navy aircraft with measured airframe proportions, a carefully shaped engine cowling, and a finished size of 190 mm in length and 229 mm in width. Surface lines, the cockpit area and the landing gear wells give the model a crisp, technical look that stands out on the workbench and in a display cabinet. This plastic model can be built as either the A6M5 or the A6M5a, letting the build focus on the specific external differences between the two versions. The A6M5a configuration adds the larger-capacity belt-type cannon ammunition system, while other variant details include different wing panels, spinner parts and a wooden drop tank.
