1:72 F-14D Tomcat, plastic model kit

The 1:72 F-14D Tomcat plastic model kit brings the final Tomcat variant into a compact scale with a 272 mm wingspan and 265 mm fuselage length, while keeping the aircraft's broad stance, twin-tail silhouette and variable-geometry layout clearly defined on the finished airframe. This kit is the first Tamiya-designed Tomcat in the 1:72 War Bird Series and focuses on a clean build without losing the features that give the aircraft its character. The F-14D used General Electric F110-GE-400 engines and updated avionics, and the model reflects that late-service configuration. Two seated crew figures are included for the tandem cockpit, and 5 U.S. Navy marking options give scope to finish the aircraft in different squadron identities. Paint and cement are required separately. On the bench, the moving wing mechanism and optional detail parts support different display choices once assembly is complete. On a shelf, in a cabinet or alongside other modern naval aircraft in 1:72 scale, the Tomcat's long nose, broad fuselage and underbody stores create a strong carrier-based aviation presence.
