1:72 Mosquito B Mk.IV/PR Mk.IV, plastic model kit

This 1:72 plastic model kit captures the De Havilland Mosquito B Mk.IV/PR Mk.IV, one of the most distinctive twin-engine aircraft of World War II. The finished model measures 212.5 mm in wingspan and 172.5 mm in fuselage length, giving the aircraft a compact display size while preserving the long nacelles, clear canopy lines and slim fuselage that define the Mosquito silhouette. The build is arranged as a full assembly project with separate cockpit, fuselage, wing, nacelle, propeller and landing gear stages. The kit supports 3 different versions, with instruction callouts showing where holes must be opened and which parts belong to each configuration before assembly begins. Paint and marking guidance is provided for bomber and reconnaissance finishes, including upper-surface camouflage, underside variations and a PR Mk.IV blue-grey scheme. Decal placement references cover serials, squadron codes, roundels and smaller airframe markings for each version. On the workbench, the 600-minute assembly time gives space for careful trimming, painting and decal application rather than a quick snap-together session. Once completed, the model suits shelf display, diorama use or a focused aircraft collection built around RAF subjects and 1:72 scale warbirds. Paints and cement are required separately.
