1:24 Nissan Fairlady 240Z, plastic model kit

This 1:24 plastic model kit recreates the Nissan Fairlady 240Z Street-Custom as a classic fastback coupe with a long nose, lowered stance and the tuned details that defined many road-going Z cars of the era. At 172 mm long, 71 mm wide and 52 mm high, the finished model has a compact display footprint while still leaving room for distinct body lines, overfenders and period wheel styling to read clearly. The build goes beyond the outer shape with a realistically rendered 2,393cc inline-6 SOHC engine and triple carburetors, visible under the opening hood. New decals and metal transfers support the finishing stage with model-specific scripts, badges and trim details. The kit also allows a choice between 2 regional specifications: a Japanese version with right-hand drive or a North American Datsun version with left-hand drive. That choice changes the character of the finished car and gives the cockpit and exterior markings a different identity. On the bench, the 2-part RS Watanabe 8-spoke wheels help keep rim painting cleaner and more controlled. Once assembled, the model suits display in a cabinet, on a desk or alongside other 1:24 sports car builds, with the open hood adding an extra viewing angle for the engine bay. Cement and paints are required separately.
