1:6 Carbon Decal Plain EF, water-slide decal

Carbon Decal Plain EF adds an extra fine carbon weave to model surfaces with a clean wet-slide format that can be trimmed to the exact section required. On spoilers, winglets and body panels, the 130 x 190 mm sheet helps recreate the look of exposed carbon parts with a tighter pattern suited to smaller scale detail. Because the sheet is plain rather than pre-cut, each piece can be shaped for the specific panel before application. The decal is applied by cutting the required section, dipping it in tepid water for about 10 seconds, placing it on a clean cloth, then sliding it from the backing sheet onto the model. Positioning is adjusted while the decal is wet, and a soft cloth is used to press out excess water and air bubbles. When used with decal setting solutions such as Mark Fit or Mark Fit Strong, the film can be formed more easily over curved surfaces. The sheet suits static model subjects in 1:6, 1:12 and 1:24 scale, including cars and motorcycles with visible carbon-style aero parts or trim sections. It works well for builders who want to add surface detail to custom projects, replace plain moulded finishes, or refine selected areas with a more technical woven appearance.
