1:24 Mazda RX-7 R1, plastic model kit

The 1:24 Mazda RX-7 R1 captures the compact proportions, curved bodywork and prominent rear wing of Mazda's rotary sports coupe in a static display model kit. During the build, the body, chassis and interior come together as separate assemblies, creating a finished car with visible structure from the engine bay to the cabin. The kit goes beyond an outer shell by guiding the assembly of a multi-part engine that is installed into the front bay, followed by a support strut across the compartment. Front suspension, rear suspension, uprights and wheel installation are handled in dedicated stages, which gives the underside and running gear their own defined detail. Inside, the dashboard, steering area, center console and seats are assembled before the interior tub is fitted into the body. Clear window parts are installed from the inside, and rear body sections add the taillight panel, spoiler and trim pieces that shape the final silhouette. This layout suits builders who enjoy painting and finishing as part of the project, with callouts for body color, interior variations, trim details and metallic effects across the assembly sequence. Assembly time is stated as 600 minutes. Paints, cement and tools are required separately.
